1 – Identification of the Seller
Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. is a registered company with its head office at Estrada das Amoreiras, Herdade da Bica, 7830-299 Serpa, Portugal, email address geral@herdadedabica.com and with the legal person identification number 514 234 580.

2 – Application of the General Conditions of Sale
Browsing the site www.herdadabica.com as well as the purchase of any product in the Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. online store, implies acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale.

3 – Product presentation
The products on sale are described and presented as accurately as possible.

4 – Product prices
All product prices include VAT at the legal rate.

Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. reserves the right to modify, without prior notice and at any time, the information and commercial offer presented on products, services, commercial conditions, promotions and prices.

In the event of a price change, the products will be invoiced at the price in force when the order was placed.

6 – Ordering in the Online ShopIn order to be able to finalize orders in the online store on www.herdadedabica.com, it is mandatory to register as a user.
The aim is to keep the entire sales process clear and transparent in the light of current Portuguese legislation.
After registering, you can access your personal customer area at any time, where you can view and edit your personal details, order history or change your password.

A Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. cannot be held liable in the event of a computer, manual, technical or any other error causing a substantial change not foreseen in the retail price on the website www.herdadedabica.comTherefore, in cases where this is exorbitant or manifestly derisory, the purchase order will be considered invalid and annulled and the customer will be informed accordingly.

8 – Failure to pay
A Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. reserves the right to reject the processing of an order in the following situations: – Whenever the customer has chosen to pay by bank transfer and the amount has not been credited to the account; – Whenever there is evidence of payment fraud.

Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. supervises all orders placed on the site. These controls aim to protect Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. from abusive fraud practices.

Our customer service department will be able to request all the documents needed to process an order (proof of address or debit with the customer’s name, proof of address of the person named in the delivery address, etc.).

These requests are made via email or telephone and may occur in the following cases:
– In the case of an order with a different delivery address to the one indicated as the billing address;
– For new customers;
– For orders over 150 euros;

9 – Security
Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. prioritizes the security of the transactions made by its clients. To this end, we have implemented a secure transaction system protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) which guarantees the confidentiality, integrity and security of the data you entrust to us.

10 – Shipping Orders
The cost of transportation depends on various factors such as the weight of the order, the delivery destination and the carrier used.

The total shipping costs will be calculated automatically when you place your order in the online store at www.herdadedabica.com at checkout.

Shipment of products is limited to the territories of the following countries:

Portugal and Spain, mainland and islands.
Non-express shipping (deliveries from 2 working days) is free in mainland Portugal for orders with a total value of 85 euros or more.

Orders are dispatched on working days from Monday to Friday. The preparation and transit times shown below refer to working days (not public holidays).

Transport rates Deliveries are made during business hours on weekdays (from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) depending on the transportation company, the carrier’s route and the country.

Preparation and shipping deadlines
Orders will only be processed once payment has been received and dispatch will take place on the next working day.

The transit time is between 1 and 6 working days depending on the destination. Remember that Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not considered working days.

This deadline may be altered due to incidents or reasons of force majeure, which will be duly explained to customers.

Delivery
All products sent by Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. must be checked upon delivery.

If you find that the package is damaged, you must return it immediately to the carrier and duly justify the reason for the return on the delivery note.
You must notify Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. through one of our contacts.

11 – Exchanges or Returns
Under the terms of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, the Customer has 14 days after receiving the goods to terminate the contract and return them.
The Customer must notify Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. of the decision to terminate this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter sent by post or email, in the latter case to the email address geral@herdadedabica.com).
It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to prove that they have exercised their right of withdrawal within the legal time limit.

The Customer must, within 14 days from the date on which he has communicated his decision to terminate the contract, return and deliver the goods to the address of Pereira & Fragoso, Lda.by presenting the respective purchase invoice as well as proof of the Free Resolution request.
It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to bear the cost of returning the goods.

This right can be exercised if the consumer is not satisfied with the goods they have bought, for whatever reason, and without having to provide a justification.

As it is a right that must be exercised within the rules of common sense and good faith, customers will not be able to successively and systematically exchange or return the goods they purchase, otherwise they will be acting in abuse of the right granted to them.

Important points to bear in mind:

If you choose to exchange the product, please note that:
– Shipping costs are borne by the customer, except for customers affected by transportation or a problem with the product. In these cases, the shipping costs will be borne by Pereira & Fragoso, Lda.
– Exchanges will only be made once the condition of the product has been checked and the above conditions have been met.

If you opt for a refund, please note that:
– Shipping costs are borne by the customer, except for customers affected by transportation or a problem with the product. In these cases, the shipping costs will be borne by Pereira & Fragoso, Lda.
– Refunds will be made for the total value of the order (products plus shipping costs), unless the reason for the return is not the responsibility of our service – in these cases, shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
– Returns will only be made once the condition of the product has been checked and the above conditions have been met.

12 – Changes to the website
Pereira & Fragoso, Lda. reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary to its website without prior notice. As a result, you can change, delete or add to the content and services provided via the website or the way or place in which they are presented on the website.

13 – Navigation on
Visitors and registered users of www.herdadedabica.com must use it solely and exclusively in accordance with current Portuguese law, and may not access it with the intention of carrying out or linking to fraudulent acts or acts that result in a criminal offense, attempting and/or altering content, transmitting harmful messages or computer viruses or misusing any of its content.
